VBM Rubber-Lined Butterfly Valve

It is a kind of control valve with simple structure, long service life and lightweight, easy to operate and suitable for on/off and regulation applications. It is intended for the control of various mediums including gases, liquids, slurries, and powdered solids across a range of industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, papermaking, and water treatment.

Features & Benefits

Large caliber offers significant cost advantages.

Cost-effective rolling ball valves and gate valves above DN100. Under the same diameter, the weight is about 1/3 of that of a gate valve, and the price is 1/2 or even lower. The larger the diameter, the more prominent the advantage.

Compact structure and small footprint

The short axial dimensions of the clamp/double flange structure are particularly suitable for projects with limited machine room space – for the same pipe diameter, butterfly valves save significant installation length compared to gate valves.

Low flow resistance and low operating torque

When fully open, the valve plate flows downstream, resulting in a large flow area and low pressure loss, which helps reduce pumping energy consumption—a detail of data center PUE optimization. At the same time, the torque is low, reducing costs and energy consumption simultaneously.

The valve seat is replaceable, making maintenance convenient.

Simple structure, few parts, convenient disassembly and assembly; The rubber liner can be replaced, and the valve body can be reused for a long time - reducing the cost of the entire life cycle.

Good sealing performance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance

The rubber-lined and the butterfly plate are elastically bonded to achieve bubble-level sealing and meet the cutting requirements; Rubber-lined (EPDM/NBR) isolation media in contact with metal, resistant to corrosion, scaling, and light wear.
