Jewel Orifice
Made from high-purity ruby single crystal, the orifice achieves micron-level accuracy, with excellent orifice roundness and surface finish. It enables precise throttling and atomization control of liquids and gases, and is widely used in medical devices, inkjet printing, precision atomization, gas flow restriction in analytical instruments, as well as waterjet and laser cutting.

Features & Benefits
Micron-Level Orifice Accuracy
Orifice diameter as small as 0.02 mm, with an orifice tolerance of ±2 μm, suitable for precise micro-flow control.
Excellent Orifice Roundness
The diamond grinding and fine-finishing process ensures orifice roundness, resulting in a stable and reliable flow coefficient.
High Wear Resistance
The jewel material offers high hardness and greater resistance to fine-particle erosion than cemented carbide, with minimal orifice variation in ink particles, pharmaceutical slurries, and abrasive waterjets.
Long-Term Stability of Sharp-Edged Orifices
Ruby has high hardness, so the orifice edge is not prone to rounding or enlargement. The flow coefficient (Cd) shows good batch-to-batch consistency, making it ideal for calibration flow restrictors.
Good Corrosion Resistance
The jewel material has stable chemical properties and is suitable for a variety of corrosive fluid media.
