Features & Benefits
Extended Bonnet Design for Ambient Temperature Packing Operation
The extended bonnet structure positions the stuffing box away from the cryogenic zone, maintaining the packing above 0°C during operation to prevent freezing and loss of sealing integrity. The bonnet extension length is determined through thermal analysis based on operating temperature and insulation thickness, complemented by a drip plate design to prevent condensation corrosion on bolts.
Optional Bellows Seal for Zero External Leakage
Available with bellows seal construction, it provides a hermetic seal around the moving valve stem, preventing external leakage of cryogenic media. This design is particularly important for flammable and hazardous cryogenic media such as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and LNG, meeting stringent environmental and safety requirements.
Cryogenic-Grade Materials with Enhanced Low-Temperature Toughness
Critical components including body and bonnet are constructed from austenitic stainless steel (such as 304L and 316L), providing stable low-temperature toughness and resistance to brittle fracture. Key parts undergo cryogenic treatment prior to finish machining to relieve residual stress and stabilize dimensions, delivering consistent performance under cryogenic conditions.
Streamlined Flow Path with Low Resistance and High Flow Capacity
Features precision-cast angle body construction or S-shaped streamlined passage design with bottom-inlet, side-outlet configuration for reduced flow path complexity and low pressure drop. Aluminum alloy (precision cast) body option is available to achieve weight reduction while maintaining cryogenic performance, facilitating reduced system energy consumption.
Compact Design with Convenient Maintenance
Equipped with a multi-spring diaphragm actuator for compact overall construction, reduced weight, and stable operation. Select models feature floating sleeve connection or top-entry trim removal design for ease of installation and in-situ maintenance of valves inside cold boxes without perlite insulation removal, significantly reducing maintenance costs and downtime.
