Features & Benefits
Bubble-Tight Shutoff with Reliable Cryogenic Sealing
This valve delivers bubble-tight shutoff at ambient temperature and meets BS 6364 requirements under cryogenic operating conditions. Key components including body and bonnet are constructed from austenitic stainless steel (such as 304L and 316L) and undergo cryogenic treatment prior to finish machining to relieve residual stress and prevent leakage caused by cryogenic contraction and deformation.
Enhanced Safety with Multi-Layer Protection Design
Incorporates four key safety features: automatic cavity pressure relief, anti-blowout stem, fire-safe construction, and antistatic design. The self-relieving cavity structure automatically releases abnormal pressure buildup caused by vaporization and expansion of cryogenic media, protecting the valve body from rupture. The anti-blowout design prevents the stem from being ejected under high pressure. The fire-safe construction maintains metal-to-metal sealing integrity even after soft seals are compromised by fire. The antistatic design dissipates static electricity generated by ball rotation and friction, reducing the risk of ignition in the presence of flammable cryogenic gases.
Multiple Sealing Configurations for Diverse Application Requirements
This valve supports multiple sealing configurations, including Double Block and Bleed (DBB), DIB-1, and DIB-2. The DBB function employs dual independent sealing surfaces to isolate the medium, with a cavity bleed port provided to detect internal leakage and verify bidirectional sealing reliability. This configuration is particularly critical for isolation and control of high-hazard media such as LNG.
Low Fugitive Emission Design for Environmental Compliance
Engineered with a specialized sealing structure at the packing and bonnet, the valve effectively reduces the risk of external leakage, supporting compliance with increasingly stringent environmental emission standards. Suitable for LNG, liquid oxygen, and other volatile cryogenic media transfer systems.
In-Line Maintenance for Reduced Equipment Downtime and Maintenance Costs
Dedicated tooling supports rapid disassembly and reassembly in-line, enabling replacement of sealing elements and other critical components without removing the valve from the pipeline. This significantly reduces equipment downtime and lowers overall operation and maintenance costs.
