Features & Benefits
Unobstructed Flow Path with Minimal Resistance
This valve incorporates a full-bore O-port ball and straight-through flow passage design to provide a largely unobstructed path with a low flow resistance coefficient. This feature effectively reduces the risk of clogging and media entrapment while maintaining consistent efficiency when transferring high-viscosity, fibrous, and particulate-laden media.
High Sealing Integrity with Low Leakage
This valve is available with soft-seated (e.g., PTFE) and metal-seated configurations. Soft seats provide bubble-tight shutoff. Metal seats feature precision-lapped surfaces and hardening treatment. The valve is suitable for demanding applications involving high temperature or particulate-laden media. Leakage performance meets API 598 testing requirements and satisfies sealing requirements for rigorous industrial service.
Comprehensive Safety Design
The bottom-loaded stem design helps prevent unintended stem blowout under internal pressure and maintain operational safety. Should cavity pressure rise abnormally due to media vaporization at elevated temperatures, the seat is displaced by media thrust, enabling automatic pressure relief and maintaining safe valve operation.
Inherently Fire-Safe and Antistatic Design
The fire-safe and antistatic construction is certified to API 607 and API 6FA fire test standards. It maintains metal-to-metal sealing integrity even after soft seals are compromised by fire. A conductive spring is installed between the valve body, stem, and ball to dissipate static electricity generated during operation, reducing the risk of ignition in the presence of flammable or explosive media.
Compact Design with Convenient Maintenance
The valve features a lightweight construction and small footprint, significantly reducing installation space compared with conventional valves. Interchangeable components make installation, disassembly, and routine maintenance straightforward, effectively reducing on-site maintenance costs and downtime.
