Features & Benefits
High Measurement Accuracy
With excitation coil insulation resistance as high as 500 MΩ, leakage current and interference are effectively suppressed, delivering a significantly improved signal-to-noise ratio. Combined with DSP digital signal processing, the meter resolves flow signals with exceptional precision—startup flow velocity as low as 6 mm/s, accuracy up to 0.5 class, and support for bidirectional flow measurement.
Easy Installation, Minimal Straight Pipe Requirements
The magnetic field balancing technique effectively reduces the influence of upstream flow disturbances. Only 5D of upstream and 2D of downstream straight pipe (where D is the pipe inner diameter) is required—far less than other flowmeter types—saving installation space and retrofit costs.
Wide Power Supply Compatibility
The electromagnetic flowmeter offers both AC and DC power options: AC 100–230 V (±15% tolerance), 47–440 Hz frequency range, max power consumption 15 VA; DC 11–40 V, max power consumption 15 VA. The wide-voltage, wide-frequency design accommodates standard 50/60 Hz grids and also supports special 400 Hz power supplies, making it ideal for marine, field, and other complex power environments.
Interchangeable Transmitters
Based on Faraday's law of induction, the sensor output is linearly proportional to flow velocity. Standard simulated sensor signals allow transmitter calibration in the field—after replacing a transmitter, the original accuracy is restored without recalibrating against a flow standard. This simplifies on-site maintenance and significantly reduces downtime and calibration costs.
Smart Diagnostics and Data Protection
The transmitter features built-in empty-pipe detection and alarm, plus comprehensive self-diagnostics—real-time hardware monitoring with fault detection for excitation drive and system memory. Configuration parameters are stored in non-volatile memory; no data is lost on power failure, with a retention period of up to 10 years. User-set parameters remain fully editable
